For those wondering #WhatsUnderTheWater, we’re about a week in to the lake drawdown. This is at Pavilion Point, and the waterline is normally where the lighter rock meets the darker or redder rock. The Cabin Cove is pretty shallow for quite a ways out, but it’s a little rockier below the Pavilion. #WhatsUnderTheWater This is Stumpy Hollow two days ago. It’s much easier to see the shallow valley it once was, with all the “ghost trees” still there. The LCRA institutes a lake drawdown every so often to allow landowners to make repairs to property and docks that have been damaged by water events, such as our flood in July.
