A federal judge on Monday blocked agents from carrying out immigration enforcement actions at places of worship for Quakers, Cooperative Baptists and Sikhs.

Several Quaker groups, a Baptist denomination and a Sikh temple challenged the Trump administration’s order allowing immigration agents to make arrests at churches.

Religious organizations are challenging a Trump administration policy that allows ICE to conduct operations in sensitive locations. The judge declined to pause the policy more broadly.
