U.S. Sen. Kevin Cramer of North Dakota is recovering at his Bismarck home after injuring his head when he slipped on ice.

North Dakota Senator Kevin Cramer suffered a head injury Monday when he slipped on ice in his backyard at home.

Sen. Kevin Cramer revealing on social media that he suffered a severe concussion, seizure and slight brain bleed on Sunday. Cramer says he slipped on ice at his Bismarck home while walking down a hill to his dock and fell hard.

"I stepped on ice and evidently fell hard, hitting the back of my head. I do not remember anything from the fall until arriving at Sanford Health emergency room," Cramer wrote on Facebook.

BISMARK, NORTH DAKOTA – North Dakota Senator Kevin Cramer is recovering after a “severe concussion” suffered on Sunday, February 23rd, according to a Facebook post from the Senators account on Monday.

In a post on Facebook, Sen. Kevin Cramer said he will be resting before returning to Washington after suffering head injuries in a fall at home.

Cramer said his office has received "very little" feedback from North Dakotans expressing concerns about the president's actions during his first month in office.
