Octopus Attacks Crab on Land

Arachnophobes beware! The itsy-bitsy spider 🎶... uh, maybe not so itsy-bitsy. These are golden silk orb-weavers (Nephila clavipes)or more commonly called, banana spiders. The female orb weaver can average in lengths up 3 inches while the male is significantly smaller at 1/4 inches in size. You may often see orb weavers in clutters such as this or singular, across a hiking trail. Either way, don’t be intimidated by this magnificent spider, they are completely harmless to humans.
