Velvet shed has begun! Over the last week or so the bulls have started rubbing and shedding velvet across the elk range. They are in full swing now with full shed bulls being seen regularly. Pretty much directly after velvet shed the testosterone starts building in the bulls and herd dynamics start to change…the rut is near!!!Heres a clip of a couple small shed bulls way way out in a remote area over this past weekend that weren’t very photogenic…just how we like them. | Elk County Outfitters |
