After an easy drive from Kareedouw to Joubertina on the tarred R62 we turned northwards towards the Kouga Wilderness and our first pass of the tour - the Kouga Kleinrivier Pass. This named as it traverses crossings of both rivers that form a confluence at the bottom of the pass.
