I am not familiar with this type of engine, what are the most important things, what should I definitely pay attention to. before I make an offer. the engine is said to be loose, has compression, is complete and has a spark on the ignitor but does not run please advice.

Jul 21, 2019 · Inner - IHC GC-350 - ID 1.969, OD 4.331, width 1.058 Outer - IHC GPC-260 - ID 2.364, OD 4.332, width 0.861 Both have steel cages for the balls. Neither has a snap ring groove, or a shield I see machined steps on the IR-OD and OR-ID, but I suspect these were features for turning or assembling. Though to be fair, they may possibly be for a shield.

Nov 2, 2005 · As a matter of interest I notice you are from Neuss, we have a IHC 766 that has a Neuss engine in it, they were put in the Oz versions because they were cheaper I believe than sourcing IHC engines from US. It has since been rebuilt after the picture was taken and some 7,500 pretty hard hour's and the engine has never given any trouble in the time.

Feb 8, 2008 · All of the IHC trucks and buses I have ever seen equipped with automatic transmissions had 4-barrel carbs. Since the only MV446 engines I have ever seen were on buses that had automatics, I am not sure if any MV446 engines had 2-barrel carbs on them. I have seen MV404 engines with 2-barrel carbs but they were on buses with stick shifts.
