Sep 3, 2012 · Whilst in overdub mode the roll button itself doesn't really do anything as the roll is always "active", though you can mute the roll by holding HOLD/MUTE and touching the x-pad. This is useful because it allows you to record a fill but then turn it on and off (e.g. play the loop for 7 bars and then turn the fill on for the 8th)
