After a multitude of e-mail correspondence between their rebate support and myself, there are a list of items a consumer should know when sending rebates in (apparently on their own). I was quite shocked to find out #4 after mailing two envelopes with hundreds of receipts in each one.

At the moment Menards is not running the 11% rebate, but it will be soon. I can answer most of your questions. If the rebate is running you can purchase online, or at the store. You can place a special order and get the 11%. You can buy a whole house package or any thing as small as a bag of dog treats. There are some items exempt from 11% rebate.

Mar 16, 2022 · If you take a Menards ad to Lowe's or Home Depot they will match Menards price including the 11%, so there's no hassle of rebates to send in and wait for, you get the 11% discount right away!! But that's only in areas that have a Menards nearby and only when the 11% sale is in effect!!

Menards almost certainly uses mail to cut back on the number of rebates redeemed. The more of a hassle it is to redeem rebates the fewer people redeem them. I wouldn’t redeem a small rebate from Menards if I only spent a few dollars because of the cost of a stamp.

Sep 24, 2019 · I found three receipts that I forgot to mail in for rebate. On one I missed the final mailing date by two weeks, one three months, and one six months. Any options? Mail them in and hope for the best? Maybe in a single envelope with a current receipt/rebate? Have customer service re-ring the items (will they do that?)

Jul 24, 2023 · I send in my receipts and rebate forms (CORRECTLY!). Six months go by, and I don't receive a single rebate check. I check the status online and it says the checks were already sent out, but never redeemed. I contact R.I. and tell them about the missing checks. I receive them in the next week or two without issue. It's very consistent.

Apr 15, 2024 · However, when a rebate is a specific amount off a specific item, those must be mailed in by the mailing date. Otherwise, mail away. I usually put about 15 rebate receipts with one blue and white rebate slip per envelope and they combine them all into one larger rebate which saves you envelopes and postage.

The issue with the rebates is that it means you're basically overpaying by 11% unless you only shop on rebate day. So if you do plan on being a Menards customer, you shouldn't shop there at all unless it's rebate day. The other issue with Menards is that it's owned by one of those "comically evil" billionaires you're always hearing about.
