Marula Farms derives its name from the marula fruit, a treasured South African delicacy. As a family-owned business, the name reflects our family’s deep connection to Africa. Inspired by our first farmland purchase, a tree farm, it pays tribute to our favorite African tree.

Marula Farms began in July 2019 as a 100-acre tree farm, evolving to include a vineyard and greenhouse through additional land clearing. In 2024, the farm expanded with the purchase of two more properties totaling 300 acres, enabling the cultivation of diverse row crops like corn, soybeans, and winter wheat.
