In 1906, Lucy Madeira founded her school with the belief that it is our duty and privilege to help young women to understand their changing world and to have the confidence to live lives of their own making, their own passions, their own dreams.

Every Madeira girl participates each season in a sport or in activities like dance, theater, ModelUN, publications, and more. 338 students = 338 unique schedules! Madeira girls graduate with the experience, courage, and skills to make an impact in college and beyond.
