Nov 8, 2017 · About a month ago, I purchased a new Anderson AM 15 (optics ready). The rifle was on sale at a local gun shop / indoor range for $399. I have fired the rifle twice at the indoor range and so far it functioned perfect and was very accurate (no magazine dumps, or rapid fire & distance of 25 yards).

Dec 20, 2021 · Playing the role of a sickly, old gunfighter in "The Shootist" was a bit out of character for John Wayne. It was one of very few films (can't think of another at the moment, but there may have been one or two) where he did some acting and wasn't just John Wayne. Indeed, a very good movie, probably among his two or three best films.

Oct 15, 2024 · John T. I have a set of Uncle Mike's rubber Boot Grips on my 640-1, yes, the boot grip design makes the J-frame controllable and more comfortable while maintaining concealability. Sadly, Uncle Mike's is no longer licensed to make the rubber boot grip, so when my disintegrate or get too gummy, I'll go with wooden boot grips.

You didn't say what you don't like about the trigger pull, but most of the "crunchy" in the S&W semi-auto triggers (pre-MIM), is from the sear dragging across the "rough" rear periphery of the hammer and from the mainspring coils abrading against the bore of the mainspring cup.
