Jan 29, 2025 · Then you know for sure what you are dealing with and have ruled out things like a tear. It is rare but I had a friend who ended up having a horse with a severe tear (among other issues) in the stifle and she ended up putting the horse down as a result. Had she not done the ultrasound, she would have continued to "treat" without gaining results.

Jul 15, 2017 · She went with one, who gives you all natural herbs/vitamins with whatever your horse is lacking etc. I have somewhat reason to give it a go. I'm getting the vet out tonight, because my horse has started breathing quite heavy, so I think depending how the vet goes. I may lean toward just giving it a try, will keep you all posted if I do!

Jul 8, 2018 · Most are 6-8 inches full length then when folded in 1/2 3-4 inches. Like the set I'd been using picked them up at clinic years ago and still going.
