The Hor States (Tibetan: ཧོར་དཔོན་ཁག་ལྔ།, Wylie: hor dpon khag lnga; Chinese: 五霍爾; lit. 'Five Hors'), also known as the Horpa States (Chinese: 霍爾巴小邦), were a group of five principalities located in the Tibetan region of Kham that existed from the 14th century to the mid-1900s.

Kham (Tibetan: ཁམས་, Wylie: khams; Chinese: 康; pinyin: Kāng) is one of the three traditional Tibetan regions, the others being Domey also known as Amdo in the northeast, and Ü-Tsang in central Tibet. The official name of this Tibetan region/province is Dotoe (Tibetan: མདོ་སྟོད་).

According to oral tradition, the 39 Hor tribes came under three different rules—Mongol, Chinese and Tibetan. They were first under the rule of Mongol Princes of Kokonor, beginning from Erdi Chogla (a descendant of Emperor Yungdrung) through his 13 generations. This period was called the period of the Yellow Mongols (hor ser).

Hor as an ethnonym refers to populations of Turkic origin (CS 147), and its application to an area of Cultural Tibet suggests may be descendents of originally Turkic populations that were later Tibetanized.
