Aug 1, 2009 · The Surefire X400 has five positions: OFF, Laser, Light/Laser, Light, OFF. The light seems identical to my X300 and the laser is a tad brighter than my M6. The X400 appears to be just as well made as the X300, and is a touch above the M6's plastic construction. It is noticeably heavier than the M6. I'm currently using Winchester Ranger T 230gr. +P.

Jun 16, 2017 · There is one major mechanical difference; the USP uses a double coil spring recoil system (like the Mark 23), while the HK45 uses a single flat spring recoil system. I find the USP's recoil system to be more pleasant when shooting suppressed.

Jul 7, 2008 · I called Surefire today and was told that, indeed, the X200/300/400 weapon lights will not directly fit the HK45C. The rep told me that the MR08 adapter (the same adapter developed for the USP compact) will allow mounting of the light. Has anyone tried this combination? Do you have pictures that you can share?
