The BMW E34 is the third generation of the BMW 5 Series, which was produced from 2 November 1987, until 1996. Initially launched as a saloon in January 1988, the E34 also saw a "Touring" station wagon (estate) body style added in September 1992, a first for the 5 Series.

Aug 30, 2007 · The V8/V12 feel right in E31/E32/E38/E39 cars, but bulk down the E34. If you search around on the forums and read some of the feedback from people who have driven the V12 E34 sedans, I think you will find that they feel the chassis is unbalanced, front heavy.
