The Washington Women’s Rugby Football Club, better known as the DC Furies, is one of the oldest women’s rugby clubs in the nation. We believe that rugby is a sport that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy year round.

spring 2025 SCHEDULE *** Designates Matrix Games . February 18th, First Official Spring Practice Deanwood Rec Center 7-9pm. March 8th, HOME vs Rappahannock and Severn River

In the spring and fall, the Furies field competitive club rugby 15s teams. During the summer, the Furies play in 7s tournaments at both a competitive and social level. Practices take place within the Washington, D.C. metro area.

GWUH supports the DC Furies in off field health endeavors, including annual baseline concussion testing, expedited access to physicians and rehabilitation services, and providing athletic trainers for DC Furies home games.
