Feb 11, 2020 · I just bought a brand new steel Goodmark cowl hood. The hood is 70" in length, and length of the scoop is 42", which leaves 28" of hood in the front. I think it will look really good when my car gets painted soon. I just got the hood transferred to my car this evening. I bought it from Carid and it was $768 plus shipping.

Jan 26, 2004 · The two best cowl hoods that have the look of a hood that could have been produced by Chevrolet, are the steel Goodmark Cowl Hood and the fiberglass Harwood bolt-on. I have a Holley strip dominator intake, a 1/2" nitrous plate a Demon carb and a 1" drop base Moroso aircleaner with a 4" K&N filter. and it fits under my 3-1/2" cowl hood. I did however lower the motor into the frame to make this happen. At one time i had an Edelbrock torker II 2-0 intake and a 3" filter and it fit under the stock steel hood.

Feb 26, 2005 · just get a fiberglass bolt on cowl induction hood. thats what i plan on doing with my 70' they also have lift off cowl induction 'glass hoods. and the 'glass hoods cost about the same as a metal cowl induction hood that bolts on. but they are lighter. that would help offset some of the extra weight on the front end with that big block too. 79T/Aman

Mar 13, 2020 · Went cruising with the club last night and went out again today. Thanks for that factory A/C. Sure is nice. Love my Monte. Such a fun car to drive and people really like it. One little kid said yesterday that it sure was a wierd looking old car. LOL
