The Corpsebloom is a Lunar item introduced in Risk of Rain 2. Like all Lunar items, the Corpsebloom has a powerful effect and a drawback. It increases all healing by 100%, but limits how much the user can heal at once to 10% max health.

The corpsebloom is capped at 10% max HP/sec, which is reasonable healing for anyone else. I think a good example of a time it'd be useful would be mercenary or artificier.

Dec 5, 2019 · Ironically, if you're just doing an obliteration run to get lunar coins, you have to waste a lunar coin to get corpsebloom. This reduces your lunar farming by 20% assuming you get one every obliteration run. So this seems like a waste even using it in its "most useful" way.
