Modify old Aiwa speakers...worth it? - AVS Forum
Aug 1, 2018 · The Aiwa speakers are (not surprisingly) lacking in the low-range. Mids and High are actually pretty good. I love the tall and skinny form factor of these speakers, but would like to try modifying to get some better low frequency response.

Nov 19, 2006 · #1. Hi, I have this nice sounding pair of Aiwa bookshelf speakers and I want to make them into something better. I know that they can sound better by adding some insulation (at the moment they don't have any). But I want to make it into real diy project by converting this bookshelf set into a floorstanding set and use a decent 3 way crossover.

Aiwa Aiwa SX-M200 Bookshelf Speakers (pair) 90s - Reverb
biamped 3-way speakers. 80 watts total (30 x 2 for bass drivers; 10 x 2 for midranges/tweeters) speakers: 6-1/2"W x 10-1/4"H x 9"D. These speakers are very nice the cherry vinyl wood grain will look good in any system speakers are bi amped 16 ohms for tweeter 6 ohms for woofer they sound really good. They are in excellent condition
