Jun 7, 2021 · for $8k you can buy cars with better mileage. for example a quick search : Honda crv 2013 no accidents, no check lights, 140k you can pay 7-8k for it right there no financing anything. 8k is a good amount most people would sell with no financing, but if they see you are weak they will force 2-3k on top of the car price for "paperwork and etc"
How realistic is it to take out a 8k personal loan for a car?
There's a reason that you can't get a car loan for this. It's because the bank doesn't see the car as good collateral, aka it's not worth the money. This isn't a car, it's an overpriced toy. Wait until you have the kind of income to afford an $8,000 toy without having to borrow any money.
Im paying 33k for a 8k car.. how do i get out : r/personalfinance
There’s a lot of factors with a car payment, taxes, credit and apr, length of loan, maintenance packages and of course the agreed upon price of the car. If you signed a contract that states 500 total per month for 5 years that just doesn’t sound right.
Did I make a mistake by buying a 8k car in cash? : r ... - Reddit
Sep 22, 2016 · The concern for me is that you're buying a car, which will last on average around 8 years. At worst, you buy a lemon or get your car totaled before the full loan balance is paid off then you're out a car and still owe money on the loan. Cars are too susceptible to risk and depreciation to justify taking a loan, regardless of how low rates might be.
Sell car with 8k-12k negative equity : r/NavyFederal - Reddit
Trade in the car and get a brand new car. . 1)Go to local dealers and lease a car so your negative equity disappears after the lease is complete. If you have negative equity the lease absorbs it the best. 2) find an ev car that has a $7500 rebate so it can eat up your negative equity. Or look for a car that has a really strong rebate.
What should I Buy - £6-£8k car that can do it all : r/CarTalkUK
I know I'm going to sound like a total car talk meme but our first family car was an a4 avant (poverty spec), then got a top of the range octavia vrs and now looking at selling the a4 to get a top spec superb (all used). My take home is I'd rather have a newer, higher spec car with a less prestigious brand than fall for the "luxury German" meme.
32k in bank: Buy 24k car outright or finance? : r ... - Reddit
5k car is very reliable. AND… you’ll have plenty of money left over to make minor repairs along the way. Even better… in a year or two, you can trade it in for probably around 5k, and put the money in with new money to buy an 8k car… then on and on and on till you have what you want. The key is patience. I’ve done it. There is no rush.

Best cars for $8k? : r/whatcarshouldIbuy - Reddit
The thing is that at 8k, even if there is no Deferred maintenance and large reliability issues, the car will need repairs. And the repairs are priced for a $50,000 European car, not for a $20,000 Japanese car. Service at the dealer is like $600 and $300 at your local mechanic. For a Kia or Honda it’s like $80
Forced to buy new car, what would you buy? : r/CarTalkUK - Reddit
Safe car and it did have lots of grunt and very practical but I felt no connection to the road at all, might aswell have been a hover car. One big plus was the brakes, Jesus they were impressive with their stopping power (I actually ended up putting XC90 calipers onto my s-max as it allowed for bigger discs and pads than the standards)
