In the latter case, army men may have opened the door a little, but had I been told that I could play a game WITH my army men, I probably would have written this whole hobby off. Getting the fun to assemble and paint minis was the draw first. That being said, things can and do change.

The original Army Men game is good, but brutally hard. I think Sarge's Heroes 2 was supposed to be one of the other better ones. The rest are fairly mediocre at best.

With this one and Army Men RTS they also did an odd thing where the weapons and some bits of equipment were colored and textured realistically, instead of making them look like plastic so there was a bit of a clashing artstyle.

Aug 28, 2021 · Army Men RTS however is very very simple for more “traditional” RTSs. Regardless of how many people are playing in multiplayer, everyone is on the same level, unless skill is a variable. The only difference between the Tan army and the Red army in this game is color. Every player has the same troops, the same buildings and the same upgrades.
