Nov 17, 2022 · I also think NC State is a great campus to meet new people too. I was an out of state student, kinda quiet, and worried about not being able to make friends. But I really made some lifelong friends while there. Honestly the only thing I really didn’t like at State were some of the teachers (especially during covid).

On my side and with insight into both schools, a major perk is the maturity of State’s online presence, communication and tools. The pack planner is leaps and bounds beyond Tech’s archaic portal and pdf/paper tools.

Nov 24, 2021 · Yep. I get loads of grants and subsidized loans here at NCSU. Unless you have a family rich enough to pay out of state tuition, it just isn’t worth it. You will get next to NO aid. There’s a reason every state has a land grant university.

Apr 28, 2018 · For athletics, UNC football experience does not compare to NC State tailgating and football. Basketball, UNC is typically the better team and has more die-hard basketball fans. But NC State still makes tourneys and the games are very fun to watch (and we finished above UNC this year).
