People on here and others only think Mott Haven was poor terrible trouble area for the past 30 years but not so. I read and also heard how terrible Mott Haven was in the 1920s and 1930s with its high rate of crime. Things died down and picked up again in the 1950s.

Everywhere else is just standard BX. Black heavy neighborhoods are the worst. Hispanic hoods might be poor but random crime is lower.
