Aug 10, 2023 · Ok, the Menards kits can give you a an idea of what different types, sizes, styles will run you. The last time I looked at one with what the total costs would be, it was about 3X what the kit was. That was about 5yrs ago, but the ratios should be similar. There can be a lot of hard costs based on site conditions and utility availability.

Sep 13, 2021 · The first digit of a Menards SKU number tells you what department that item is in. For example the Masterforce 4.5″ Long Nose Pliers have this SKU number, 243-6438. The first digit is a “2” this means we will find these pliers in the Hardware department.

It doesn't matter how buddied up you are with your department head, if the GM doesn't like you for whatever reason, you can forget moving up. horrible health insurance

Otherwise, the only way to track a given customer purchase history is with the Menards card (store cards are easier to link to purchases than general cards).

I went to the backyard area of our local Menards to buy a pre-owned refrigerator since I wasn't keen about dropping $1000-3000 that I didn't have on a nice fridge outside of the typical major sale season, and surprisingly found a really nice Kenmore Elite that my neighbor who works there recommended to me to go get.

The issue with the rebates is that it means you're basically overpaying by 11% unless you only shop on rebate day. So if you do plan on being a Menards customer, you shouldn't shop there at all unless it's rebate day. The other issue with Menards is that it's owned by one of those "comically evil" billionaires you're always hearing about.
