Dec 4, 2024 · The event log showed the 3503's near the end of system shutdown meaning "Device Association Service" was reporting failures to connect to the spooler, etc. because they were already stopped and DAS was still up and polling. Setting "Device Association Service" to "Manual" isn't easy as it sets itself back to "Automatic" on its way down.

Nov 22, 2024 · I set the service l1vhlwf to disabled state "4" in the registry and shutdown PC and then restarted. Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\l1vhlwf . Once I disabled the service in the registry this stopped the errors for both "OneCore-DeviceAssociationService " and "l1vhlwf" service.
