Aug 7, 2023 · Bayonetta 3 is a really good game and might be the best bayonetta to play through gameplay wise, but the story is SO bad. In bayonetta 1/2 the story is nonsense but the characters all act like themselves, bayonetta 3's story is just so egregiously bad with its handling of Bayonetta herself that it kinda of puts a stink on the rest of the game.

Jan 29, 2025 · Bayonetta is an all-timer for me. It is a dream game, a creative vision fulfilled as much as possible. It is quite different from NG2, though. Bayonetta wants spectacle and stylish skill expression, whereas NG2 wants lightning-quick decisionmaking and ruthless efficiency. I love that both of them exist. I'm also playing Sifu again at the moment.

Of course, Bayonetta 2 itself was polarizing: There have been endless arguments about the merits between Bayo 1 and Bayo 2; Bayo 2 is the prettier game, it has less obnoxious mini-games, a better UI, and basically fixes almost all of the bizarre idosynacries of the the first game.

Feb 18, 2018 · Bayonetta 1 is still one of the best games in its genre but Bayonetta 2 makes the flaws stand out more. Bayonetta 2 is so much more consistent in almost every department from visual design to scenario pacing. I do quite like the puzzle breaks in Bayonetta 1 but they repeat themselves a lot.

Aug 4, 2022 · Bayonetta definitely has its rough patches, but I do think it's one of the easier stylish action games from the time it was made given how powerful witch time is for your first playthrough (though that really just means it's noticeably easier than DMC3 and the Ninja Gaidens).

Jan 16, 2018 · Bayonetta is very hard to master, but the outcome is staggering. All you need is the practice, practice, practice, whenever its from CPU, Amiibo, friends, tournaments, FG, anything. Don't fret about mastering her in 3 days, just steadily practice her, and surely, you will become a force to be reckoned with.

Jan 11, 2015 · Bayonetta is an action game, a beat-em-up with combos, horrifying enemies, and gigantic demonic summons. It also has freeform racing segments, participatory cutscenes with QTEs, and every fight against a Cardinal Virtue (a boss so big it occupies its own "Chapter") plays out like its own unique mini-game that utilizes different skills from Bayonetta's repertoire.

Feb 6, 2016 · Bayonetta can WTime out of the string before the first WTwist, and Palutena's slow fall speed allows her to DI out of the string before and after the reverse ABK connects. I was however able to KO Mario from the middle platforms on Battlefield.
