Dec 12, 2006 · Pick the lock on your gun safe, and 2. Find a neighbor who has an XD, and 3. Find that neighbor's gun lock key, and 4. (Assemble), load and operate your XD Then you're hosed. I'm not worried about the key being the same. A gun lock does not keep a gun from being stolen. They'd just take gun and lock and cut the lock off later.

Jan 13, 2007 · Goal: To have a working 5 XD in either .45 or 9mm setup as a race gun for IPSC, or one pushed out to the max spec for the IDPA ESP class. Bonus if the IPSC gun can be turned into a IDPA legal gun in under an hour. Result: Part of the way to an IPSC gun, a nice modification for IDPA is complete. The accessory industry for XDs is coming along.

The Pelican case came with a pluck foam insert so I was able to customize it to fit my XD sub 40 and LCP along with 5 mags (2 XD, 3 LCP) My loaded case consists of: - Pelican 1170 case - 2 standard luggage locks (non TSA approved) - Unloaded XD sub 40 - 1 standard mag - 1 extended mag

Feb 1, 2025 · WELCOME to the XD fanily. I bought my first XD 3" sub in the earlly 2000s. I sinse bought many Glocks and favor the XDs also. I bought the Glocks because thats what everyone else was doing. I'm more proficient with the XD, the mag release is much more friendly with the XD. I now own 4 XDs and thats the two of three on my CCW.

Nov 23, 2024 · First, the XD platform has always taken a back seat to other brands, notably Glock. When I was actively expanding my collection, the gun shop I basically lived at pushed the Glock lines to the max and gave the XD the ugly red-headed step child treatment. That's OK, I've got one Glock, 4 XD's, I voted with my wallet, but I was a minority.
