For a totally non-anime example, at some point more than a decade ago I got tired of zombies, specifically the non-fantasy type found in zombie apocalypse games and movies.

Jan 28, 2020 · most ecchi tropes - the problem isn't the sex appeal, it's the way so many of them go out of their way to be as creepy or one-sided as possible, and a lot of them use sexist (towards both men and women) memes as a crutch instead of putting actual effort into the humor.

Mar 3, 2022 · I'm very new to anime, and I can already tell you I'm sick of the Accidental Pervert and Not What It Looks Like tropes. Whatever trope is about people overreacting by about 500%. Threatening bodily harm out of jealousy toward the MC getting attention, guys going catatonic because a girl did or said a thing, and so on.

Considering over 50% of anime is exactly this, I can't help but indirectly insult individuals when I call out this overused plot-armor. The worst part is that most anime fans are like "ThAt'S nOt PlOt ArMoR~". Let the troupe die for the love of GOOD writing.

If she has a story about her its usually either about how she is too proper/sheltered OR how she lacks confidence and needs MC to give her a push (this is the worst). May 13, 2023 · The worst anime trope is definitely the "power of friendship" trope. It's so overused and lazy. Whenever a character is in a tough spot, all they need to do is believe in their friends, and suddenly they have an unbeatable power-up.. It's unrealistic and undermines the importance of hard work and skill.
