After studying sculpture and drawing at the Kootenay School of Art in the 1960's and following a highly respected career in freelance photography and as a brilliant and respected educator, Wilf now divides his creative time between graphite, pen and ink drawing, and very traditional black and white photography.

May 15, 2018 · Until June 6 Hatch is displaying a selection of black-and-white drawings and photographs, some dating back to the mid-’70s, at the Nanaimo Arts Council headquarters at 78 Wharf St. It is the council’s first exhibition in its new space. His most striking works are created using film manipulation techniques in the dark room.
