The current gun I have isn't the best, but with certain feats on the veteran, a charged shot can do significant damage if not outright 1-shot a target. Oct 21, 2022 · Veteran in the original MW2 was challenging, but doable. You could actually move around, acquire targets, eliminate them, and engage in some firefights. With some decent skill you could get through it with a handful of deaths, and they rarely felt cheap or forced.

Jun 2, 2023 · Agree with this comment. Veterans are not a melee horde clear class. Especially since the power sword nerf. The big thing is that the veteran lacks block efficiency and stamina regeneration of the Zealot and Ogryn. You can do ok in melee but you can get overwhelmed easily and are rather squishy even if you run full health on Damnation.

This gives you a decent Kill Team but you’re still missing some options, most notably the Confidant (with Bolt Rifle as well as Bolt-Pistol and Chainsword), the Melta Gunner Veteran, the Bruiser Veteran, Demolition Veteran and the 4 Trooper Veterans for the Ancillary Support.
