Jul 4, 2005 · Wardair was sold the Canadian AL for just over C$200M. A BIG mistake by Canadian....Wardair was close to bankruptcy. Max Ward came out of the sale with about C$70M. Canadian AL eventually got rid of the entire Wardair fleet including the A310's. 5 of the 12 A310's now serve with the Canadian Armed Forces. 1 crashed in Nepal flying for Thai Intl.
