Jan 11, 2012 · wnbc 4.1 is the main affiliate station, much like wcbs (2.1) and wabc (7.1). via the stb I'm getting 4.1. the tv is in a room where getting an stb for it doesn't make sense.

Jan 16, 2004 · WNJU sadly shares their spectrum with WNBC (also 1080i) and three other 480i channels. WNBC also has the same problem, where the blockiness of the low bitrate is quite visible most of the time. A single RF channel can barely support two 1080i channels at MPEG2, let alone three additional 480i channel on top of that.

Mar 25, 2008 · 232 WNBC-DT NBC 233 WCBS-DT CBS 234 WNYW-DT Fox 234 WPIX-DT The CW 236 WWOR-DT MyNetwork 240 WNET-DT PBS I count 33 in my list, unless I've miscounted. This includes the 8 channels that will be added on 5/15. Without those we have 25 HD channels.

May 25, 2017 · VHO7, I spot checked CNN for a few minutes and it seemed OK. MSNBC has severe pixelization and drop outs. No issues on WNBC. Haven't checked others for long enough to assess yet, but I did reboot ...

Feb 15, 2020 · I received the same STB Message, as well. So two MPEG-4 channels, and two SD channels, respectively, being removed with this. IMHO, hopefully they can put that Bandwidth towards another 4K Linear ...
