Feb 5, 2023 · WOGL became the city’s dominant oldies station, gathering a group of legendary Philly jocks including Hy Lit, Don Cannon, Harvey Holiday, Bob Pantano and many more. Originally, WOGL was known as “Oldies 98”. By 1992, WOGL incorporated more soul oldies. The station still played about 50% 1950s and 1960s songs, with a small amount of 1970s and 80s.
