Übel ｢ユーベル Yūberu?｣ is a first-class Mage and an infamous troublemaker that participated in the same First-Class Mage Exam as Frieren and Fern. Prior to the exam, she was a third-class mage. Übel has a calm and sly demeanor, and she is notorious for being a troublemaker.

Übel shows concern for Land's injury and asks him whether the one bleeding out was real or a clone. She offers him her escape golem, but Land refuses, as the golems are to ensure their own safety.
