The UCSB Library Geospatial Collection contains aerial photographs in several formats, including film, prints, and digital scans. We have two tools to help you search our aerial photograph collection to determine which areas are covered, for what time periods, and in what format.

Aerial photographs of the same location from different periods can be used to study changes in the landscape over time. The images below show the development of the UCSB campus from 1928 through 2015. Click on the images to enlarge or download the photographs.
