Sep 12, 2023 · Found a fix for this issue. Fix 1. Use opera browser and turn on the VPN service. Fix 2 if using microsoft edge browser. Go to edge://settings/privacy. Scroll down to microsoft secure network and turn it on. Click on manage secure network sites and add www.trenitalia.com. Close browser and reopen then it should work with www.trenitalia.com.

I bought tickets but have never received a confirmation email after more than a month. I have gone on the Trenitalia site and requested an email to be sent but have not gotten one.

It is not true Italo has newer trains, as Trenitalia's Frecciarossa1000 are still newer and can also travel a little faster; but on such a trip you won't see any difference. Both offer WIFI, usually after a registration (and Italo is simpler to register only with your ticket number).

Italotreno has tickets starting at €9.90, also non-changeable and non-refundable. Both are on high speed trains that take approximately 1 hour and 36 minutes.
