Anthony John (Toby) Moffett, Jr. (born August 18, 1944) is an American former politician from the state of Connecticut. A Democrat, he served in the United States House of Representatives as the member from Connecticut's 6th congressional district from 1975 to 1983. Moffett is currently Senior Advisor at Mayer Brown LLP. [1]

Moffett is an active Democratic Party strategist, serving as pro-bono adviser to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s races across the US. He is also deeply involved with re-election campaigns of many House members.
