Eventually the student must also demonstrate ability in two additional languages. This Masters Seminary ThD degree certainly is not less in time or rigor than any PhD.

However, Unizul does require the prereq for both for the D Phil and the DTh of a prior "scientific" thesis (they say dissertation).

While the college I received my M.S.L. from is pursuing accreditation from AABC my degree will probably not be considered accredited by the time the process is completed. The ThD is a research/academic degree, and unless a seminary has a church endorsement requirement for all admissions, there would be no reason to make a point of it with the ThD.
