Nov 21, 2019 · CDP feeds into Client & Market (C&M). TDP feeds into Client Delivery & Operations (CD&O). C&M focuses more on client services and consulting. CD&O focuses on technology skills and delivery focused roles. CD&O tends to have long term roles. They also tend to be paid less, have a much slower progression, and get less PTO.

Nov 19, 2019 · Can someone explain to me the difference between CDP and TDP? I’m hearing that TDP’s are getting much lower pay. Of course that’s not the most important thing, but a 20k difference certainly is. Also, what limitations do each of these place on your career? Are TDP somehow “lower rung?” Thanks!

TDP is a great program if you really advocate for yourself and get on the right engagements. CDP def pays more but you can get more tangible skills in TDP depending on your interests. I came in as TDP, transferred into ASADP and now at a FAANG.

If you’re interested in consulting as a career would def recommend CDP over TDP. Once you get in it’s possible to get a lot of the same roles but CDP will put you on a better consulting career track
