Jun 30, 2016 · People have been able to zip and send files for decades...yet Microsoft/Windows. cannot let the owner of a computer zip a file...something that should be easy. Something that does not require 10 steps. I'm stuck, I cannot believe I bought. a computer that you guys basically own. I just want to zip a file; do my work and move on to the next project.

The Windows Help and Support options gives instructions on how to compress (zip) files. Below is what it says. But when I right click a file/files and point to Send To, I don't see a choice to sent to compressed (zip) folder. My computer is fairly new, and I would think I should be able to use the Help and Support option.

I've tried right clicking and selecting 'send to' > 'Compressed (zipped) Folder and trying to open the new zipped folder, but this hasn't worked.
