SEC31 - Wikipedia
SEC31 is a protein which in yeast promotes the formation of COPII transport vesicles from the Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER). The coat has two main functions, the physical deformation of the endoplasmic reticulum membrane into vesicles and the selection of cargo molecules.
Sec31 encodes an essential component of the COPII coat
Sec31p is a phosphoprotein and treatment of the Sec31p-containing fraction with alkaline phosphatase results in a 50-75% inhibition of transport vesicle formation activity in an ER membrane budding assay.
"SEC Fee" — Section 31 Transaction Fees - SEC.gov
When you sell a stock, you may have noticed that a small transaction fee, often just a few pennies, appears on your confirmation slip. Although some broker-dealers have described this charge as an "SEC Fee," the SEC does not actually impose this fee on individual investors.
Sec31 encodes an essential component of the COPII coat required …
Sec31 encodes an essential component of the COPII coat required for transport vesicle budding from the endoplasmic reticulum. The COPII vesicle coat protein promotes the formation of endoplasmic reticulum- (ER) derived transport vesicles that carry secretory proteins to the Golgi complex in Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
SEC31A SEC31 homolog A, COPII coat complex component
Feb 8, 2025 · We demonstrate through human and Drosophila genetic and in vitro molecular studies, that a severe neurological syndrome is caused by a null mutation in SEC31A, reducing cell viability through enhanced ER-stress response, in line with SEC31A's role in …
Structure of the Sec13/31 COPII coat cage - Nature
Jan 12, 2006 · We present a three-dimensional reconstruction of these Sec13/31 cages at 30 Å resolution using cryo-electron microscopy and single particle analysis. These results reveal a novel cuboctahedron...
CircSEC31A Promotes the Malignant Progression of Non-Small …
Nov 10, 2020 · We identified circSEC31A as a sponge of miR-376a to influence SEC31A expression, thereby regulating NSCLC cell malignant behaviors in vitro and in vivo. The expression pattern of SEC31A was evaluated by the starbase v.3 software in 526 lung adenocarcinoma specimens and 59 normal controls.
