
Seaham Lighthouse | Durham Coast
The lighthouse is a black-and-white striped pier-head light with a tower height of 10m and a range of 5 miles. Seaham Lighthouse was erected in 1905 when the nearby Red Acre Point lighthouse was decommissioned.

Apr 4, 2015 · Seaham Lighthouse on Lighthouse Cliff (Sunderland Echo 11th July 1929) The first lighthouse to be built, a temporary wooden structure, was burnt down in 1835. It was replaced the same year with a stone lighthouse on Lighthouse Cliff on the north side of the harbour.
