Jan 16, 2014 · Factory Savage logo is about 5/8" OD. Fine for the pistol grip area on a rifle stock or a rear grip SP. Hard to find and most are plastic crap! Been looking at the "Buffalo" proof coins. Indian head on the reverse side. The proof coins are 32.7 mm (1.287") Indian head (close to the Savage Logo?) on the other. Not too big or too little.

Jul 6, 2024 · I do remember it having a scope but it is no longer there, what happened to it, I do not know. The only markings on the rifle are as follows: Manufacture Savage Arms Corp Utica NY USA Patented Nov 28 1905 Sept 7 1915 Sept 4 1917 Nov 20 1917 22-Long Rifle, on the butt plate the Savage logo is stamped. I have no idea on the age of the rifle.

As an aside, I use the VISM combo case/shooting pad/drag bag, really like them, good protection, functional and multiple carry options. kb
