The first day involves a 1 hour hike to Qika Cabin. The second day usually takes around 6-7 hours to get to 369 Cabin. The final day usually takes 10-11 hours of hiking to Snow Mountain Main Peak and then back to the trailhead.

Jan 31, 2015 · The trail was pretty straight forward but already steep. After an hour of hiking, we reach Qika cabin. The cabin is very basic in term of ameneties. Running water, bunk beds, nasty toilets and a small kitchen but no equipment.

Snow Trailhead Qika Cabin This hike begins at the Snow Mountain trailhead in Wuling farm. After checking in at the trailhead, it's a short 2km walk up wooden stairs to the Qika cabin where the first night can be spent if starting in the afternoon or evening.

Oct 11, 2023 · Qika Cabin is big and can accommodate 106 hikers. It has bunk beds, a kitchen and dining area, flushed toilets, and a drying room. We took a 20-minute break and continued our journey.

Mar 11, 2015 · There are two cabins on the summit trail. At the 2.0 km mark is the Qika Cabin, climbers tend to use it as a mid-point rest, water replenishment point and toilet stop before ending their day climb at the 369 Cabin just before sunset.

We spend 2 nights at 369 Cabin. Day 1 of the trek to 369 Cabin (7-8 hours) starts with a 2km gradual ascent, through pristine pine forests, to Qika Cabin. Beyond Qika Cabin, the trail opens up to stunning views of Nanhudashan (南湖大山) and the Hehuanshan (合欢山) range.
