Considering the West Side is around 1/3 Puerto Rican... but many are smaller type of establishments that might not be listed on the web. There also might be better options in Lorain. El Kefon (sp?) is a good one on Broadway in Lorain... not sure if it's around still.

PRican food doesnt involve tortillas. and is not spicy hot. corn is also not as prevalent in island cuisine. caribbean food from ex-brit islands involve more curries. The current mayor is Puerto Rican. Check out the big grocery stores, lots of Puerto Rican food ingredients. Yes, Vineland New Jersey is the place to be if you are Puerto Rican.

Mar 29, 2013 · Lived there 2 years and didn't eat it. Mofongo and Tostones, no thank you. I am from CA and avoid fried foods which is difficult with Puerto Rican food. But for the most part I cooked at home and I lived in Ocean Park so if I went out to eat I had a plethora of food choices within walking distance and really very few were Puerto Rican food.
