Feb 5, 2007 · Ive used it as anti freeze for fox trapping, I mix it about 1/3 glycol to 2/3 water, if it gets below 20 degrees, I go about 50-50.

Dec 9, 2018 · Putting propylene glycol in hospital air conditioning was fairly common around the middle of the last century. It acted as a bactericide - presumed to dehydrate the bacteria, although I haven't found any reference to evidence that this was how it works.

Mar 7, 2007 · Both glycerine and propylene glycol are identical when used as an odorless anti-freeze in lures and urines. The glycerine is very thick and sticky like honey or mollases and gets real stiff in extrememly cold weather. It gives a lure good stickyness and body but perhaps in real cold climates that body would be too much.

Aug 6, 2020 · Finally, I keep a mix of propylene glycol anti-freeze (available at trap supply dealers) and water in a spray bottle and give the set a dampening down. Sometimes I spike the glycol/water mix with just small squirt of coyote urine. There's a gizzillion different ways to do it. But this one has worked best for me so far.

Jan 24, 2007 · If you don't have waxed dirt then try propylene glycol and urine mixture 50/50,...kinda expensive, but it's odorless and it works great. Waxed dirt is still my favorite. You can also use plain dry dirt and put a "barrier" of waxed paper between the frozen earth and your dry dirt to prevent freezing and thawing.

Sep 11, 2021 · Last year i had limited wax sand from previous year and i used both propylene glycol/water and waxed sand together until i ran out. I just used the sand sparingly along with dry dirt/glycol. Then just propylene glycol. Last year was real dry here, but we still had freeze/thaw and that propylene glycol worked fine.
