Pingu is an animated children's television series originally produced in Switzerland. It was co-created by Otmar Gutmann and Erika Brueggemann. [ 1 ] It centres on the titular anthropomorphic emperor penguin and his family, who live in the South Pole .

Even though Pingu is a children's television series, some of the episodes have been censored before they reached UK television: some episodes were even banned completely from being shown.
