Jan 13, 2010 · What if I use Distilled water that is 6.0 pH and 20 ppm, do I add 1180 ppm of nutes to get to the suggested 1200 ppm? And the person, book or chart that recommended the 1200 ppm has no idea what nutrients I am using to start with, whether they are high ppm chemical solids or low ppm liquid organics. Again, you have to just use common sense.

Nov 18, 2019 · PPM on that chart is what is going in (water with nutrients) not what it's coming out at (not sure if many or if any soil growers measure PPM there either). And like she said in her first post the ppm of your runoff is meaningless in soil as it's not an accurate account of anything at all.

Jan 3, 2017 · 2nd Base nutrient EC/PPM at each feed can be pushed an extra 0.2ec/100ppm if required 3rd PH should be between 5.5-6.0 throughout. In Recirculating Hydro PH swings are normal, allow some fluctuation as its better for plants to have a good range to uptake nutes.

Oct 26, 2016 · I'm not really a coco grower, much, though I do use it once in awhile, and I also grow in perlite only which obviously also has no nutrients. For water I use rainwater which is zero ppm, and add calmag to my water reservoir to about 150-200 ppm. I ph to about 5.4. For the little sprouts I just use that.
