Giants are humanoid Monsters of great physical stature and strength. The giants of Greek mythology, or Gigantes, as they are called in the Greek tongue, were a class of oversized and often monstrous men who were closely related to the gods.

Each Gigantes was born and bred specifically to oppose one of the Olympian gods, to usurp that god's domain. The King of the Giants was Porphyrion, the anti-Zeus, and he made an official declaration of war on the Olympians by kidnapping their queen, Hera though he fell in love with the queen of Olympus.

Laistrygonian Giants are a race of monstrous, man eater giants from far north. Odysseus came across the monsters in his travels, describing the Laistrygonian king's wife as woman of "mountainous proportions."

Orion - Bane of Apollo and Artemis. Hippolytus - Bane of Hermes. Enceladus - Bane of Athena. Damasen - Bane of Ares. Mimas - Bane of Hephaestus. Periboia - Bane of Aphrodite.

The Giants are children of Gaea and Tartarus and were each born to oppose a certain Olympian god. They can only be defeated by a hero and god working together.

Jul 10, 2021 · Entire mountains being thrown, islands being broken apart and smashed on the heads of Gigantes, the gods in massive forms to fight them. As it stands, the final battle is far too short and easy, and does not at all compare to that of The Last Olympian, at least in my opinion.

Ephialtes is only twelve feet tall, a respectable height for a cyclops, but only half as tall as most giants. He also looks somewhat more human than most of his brothers, since he has two green, yellow-eyed snakes for legs (which he usually conceals under his black pants).
